It all started with an industrial barley Mill that crushed local and imported barley to produce barley semolina (balboula) which was marketed under the brand name Khoulala.
Since the creation of the first company LES MOULINS KHAIR AL JANOUB, the founder has never ceased to increase and diversify his productivity in the agri-food sector, to create hundreds of jobs by enriching the national fields with large companies such as : BODOR MILLS, KAYNA GROUP, IMANDY MILLS, MINOTERIE SAHEL..
Pioneer in the agro-food sector and leading barley exporter in Morocco, KHAIR AL JANOUB Mills was Founded in 1989.
KHAIR AL JANOUB is an industrial mill transforming DURUM WHEAT, BARLEY and CORN into finished products and exporting semolina and flour to America and Africa. Since then, the company has continued to grow and diversify its activities in the agro-food sector.
The Barley Mill, the first unit of its kind in Morocco with two simultaneous production lines, one for barley and the other for durum wheat and corn, has quickly become recognized for its know-how, the quality of its products and its wide range of flours and semolinas.
The Barley Mill is still adapting its production to the different needs of its customers, with a daily production capacity of 100 tons of quality barley delivered on time.
Up to now, Khair el Janoub offers special products such as husked barley and crushed barley under the Brand name of Khoulala.
